Yields: 3 dozen for 2 1/2″ cookies
3 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter (softened + infused w/ a sativa concentrate)
1 cup sugar
1 egg (room temp + beaten)
1 Tablespoon milk (room temp)
Powdered sugar, for rolling out dough
PRO TIPS: Proper Planning Pays + Order Matters.
Get out the measuring cups, bowls, parchment paper, & ingredients that you need ahead of time (especially if you are medicating ;-] ). Don’t forget, order matters when mixing dry and wet ingredients. Mix order can affect the outcome of your baked goods. For best results, stick to the recipe.
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Place butter and sugar in large bowl of electric stand mixer and beat until light in color. Add egg and milk and beat to combine.
Put mixer on low speed, gradually add flour, and beat until mixture pulls away from the side of the bowl.
Refrigerate Dough 2 hrs:
Divide the dough in half, wrap in waxed/parchment paper.
Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Why Refrigerate? Chilling cookie dough before baking solidifies the fat in the cookies (fat is what the THC binds to for potent edibles). As the cookies bake, the fat in the chilled cookie dough takes longer to melt than room-temperature fat. And the longer the fat remains solid, the less cookies spread. In addition, the sugar in the dough gradually absorbs liquid.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Sprinkle surface where you will roll out dough with powdered sugar.
Remove 1 wrapped pack of dough from refrigerator at a time, sprinkle rolling pin with powdered sugar, and roll out dough to 1/4-inch thick.
Move the dough around and check underneath frequently to make sure it is not sticking. If dough has warmed during rolling, place cold cookie sheet on top for 10 minutes to chill.
Cut into desired shape, place at least 1-inch apart on greased baking sheet.
Bake for 7 to 9 minutes (or until cookies turn light/brown around the edges).
Rotating cookie sheet halfway through baking time.
Let sit on baking sheet for 2 minutes after removal from oven and then move to complete cooling on wire rack.
Serve as is or ice as desired.

SLH- Super Lemon Haze – Sativa

I woke up today not feeling 100%. I was super slow to get out to bed and feeling really groggy. One hit of this super lemon haze and I was up and wired, ready to start my day. Super citrus flavor packed with a sweet earthy undertones and a smooth finish. The smell matched the taste perfectly. The feelings were instantly and obviously Sativa dominate. It hit me right in the face first, waking me up and keeping me focused. The effects lasted a solid 3 hours. 10/10 Would recommend.
